KOTANICAL began with a question: what if Ireland has its own essential oils?

Found Karl Murray spent six years answering it - researching distillation techniques, building relationships with local formers, and workign with wild-crafted Irish botanicals. In doing so, he created something that hadn't existed before: Ireland's first natively distilled essential oil. That original distillation, Douglas Fir from the forests of Co. Cork, lives on today in our Forest blend - still our most loved.

How We Source

The finest oils in the world come from specific places -- bergamot from the sun-bleached groves of Sicily, lavender from the high plateaus of Provence. We go to the source, because provenance is everything.
