Grapefruit Essential Oil

Grapefruit has fresh citrus notes and is reported to lower blood pressure, lift moods, and relieve stress by promoting brightness and positivity. The fresh citrusy scent is uplifting and sweet, helping to reduce tension and nervous energy, and increase focus and positive energy.

Kotanical grapefruit essential oil is made from cold-pressing the fruit peel, already recognizable for its distinctive aroma and taste, reminiscent of summer and warmth. Grapefruit essential oil brings a freshness and sunny ambience to a room which is both uplifting and rejuvenating but can be balanced out in blends with complementary essential oils to promote stress-reduction and calm.

Grapefruit is also used in the unique Kotanical oil blend for the STILL rollerball, and in the spring essential oil diffuser blend.

HOW TO USE

  • Diffuse: add 10-15 drops of essential oil – on its own or as part of a blend with other oils – to 100ml water in a Kotanical stone oil diffuser.
  • Inhale: add 4-12 drops of essential oil to steaming water – in a bowl or as part of a facial steamer – and inhale deeply for up to 10 minutes.
  • Massage: add up to 2 drops of essential oil to 4tsp of carrier oil such as coconut, almond, jojoba, grapeseed or olive oil.
  • Topical: add 3-5 drops of essential oil to 2tsp of carrier oil such as coconut, almond, jojoba, grapeseed or olive oil.

All Kotanical essential oils contain 100% organic essential oil – free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, formaldehydes, and mineral oil, with a shelf life of 1-2 years.

The organic essential oils are vegan-friendly and certified cruelty free by the leaping bunny program.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world except America. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we may provide shipping costs if applicable for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping option you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use and the destination country, orders that weigh more than 2kg will often be split and sent in two or more packages.

We endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it, please allow for some delays during peak period / Black Friday due to high volumes.

Returns Policy


We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will happily refund any unwanted goods returned within 14 days from date of delivery. All unwanted goods must be returned in an unused,unopened and as new condition as sent to you with the original packaging and any free samples/free gifts received along with a completed returns form. Please note all applicable free gifts and samples supplied must also be returned with your order. If not we will make a discretionary deduction to cover our cost for these items. We will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them less the true cost to us for shipping the item to you. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the goods are returned safely to us.


In the unlikely event that your product is faulty upon arrival we will happily replace it. Please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the product and we will be able to assist you. We will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them including the delivery charges for sending the item to you.

We will refund back to the original method of payment charged only (e.g. credit card, debit card, gift voucher).
